I'd argue though that some of the progression talents should have less points to max out and the talent tree to be "wider"
Kind of tapped alt f4 after finding out...
I really like the idea of completing the talent trees.
With the games premise to try again and agian getting stronger everytime to eventually have a chance at killing death(thats how I see it) I think that a maximum is just going against it, contradicting it so to say.
It is understandable to have somewhat of a limit for it to be well balanced, that there is always a challange and difficulty, but that doesn't mean there has to be dead set limit.
Maybe if they were stretched out more, f.e. for each area only a maximum number of essences can be gained, or that it is spread out over the whole game(each area having different restrictions on the talent trees) while there is an extra challange mode, for those who want to challenge themselves and go for some specific builds.
As much as it hurts, it is early access...
i mean, the game isn't that challenging to begin with. the fun of these games is to just get stupid OP and get dopamine from big numbers on screen
Since I don't want to ""cheat"" I increase the max talent point by 4 each time I complete a run so it feels like I'm still progressing. Game is more fun this way for me.
