How do you Adjust the difficulty?

Idk how to adjust the difficulty. Also, I still haven't beaten this game. Stuck right after beating the necromancer.

Beat the game first and it'll unlock the option to increase the difficulty, the enemies stats with it, and the item rarity. ^^
Though the latter might be a bit tweaked this upcoming patch

What specifically do you mean by beat the game. Ive beat the Baron with everyone. All their unlocks are done except for Nix. Dont know what to do

Beat the game on difficulty 30. "When you are in the Star Crux’s position (hub center), press E". Or do all the achievements.

FYI when they add a new level you have to be at it before you can access the star Crux again.
