Suggestion for Gods
First let me say I like your game, I believe it has promise, although it is a bit bland right now. The Gods are what make the game interesting and here is my suggestion to capitalize on them. All characters start with access to one God only. As you play, you earn favor (similar to experience points, make sure to retain the RPG aspect here). Each God will have their own favor pools. In between rounds, you can either spend the favor you accumulated with that God for new skills (for a lesser cost) or unlock access to a new God, for a higher price. You could also tie unlocking the Gods to achievements and create a system that rewards you for devotion to a particular God (access to only their skills) or choosing to worship more than one God (dual or triple class if you will) which gives you access to larger variety of skills, but reduces the bonus earned from devotion. Beyond that, you could add some sort of ascendancy feature. You've served your God long enough (spent enough devotion) and unlock a variety of skill evolutions. Maybe once you've spent enough favor with 2 Gods and ascended more than 1, those skills could have unique synergies and evolutions.

I hope this idea helps and in no way require credit or compensation should you use part or all of the ideas.

your build doesn't matter, as long as you're lucky. btw 95% of this game right now is based on RNG and 5% on itemization.

Thats why I offered suggestions to make it better.

I prefer they either make the pool of gods smaller on a run (three) so I can more effectively level talents and build the characters skillset or improve the skills god gives. Most gods feel like they only have two actually useful skills: Justice has health regen, Lightning god the chain lightning skill, fire god either fire dash or fire basic attack (meteors okay too I guess), etc.

The fact that you end up with like five gods, and each god has mostly crap abilities, along with the fact that theres no inherent reroll honestly makes the game garbage. Your entire run is pretty much determined by the first three or four level-ups (what gods and talents you get) making everything else pointless.

Even characters are sort of garbage. Every character seems worse than the Fighter/Knight starting character, with only the mage character being sort of interesting since she at least has ranged attack.

Have to try to remember, the game is in beta (maybe alpha?). It needs a lot of work, but I think it shows some promise.

You can only get skills from 4 gods per run - one being the Fates who only have 4 skills.
Once you've gotten a skill from 3 different gods, no other god ever shows up.
It's the same with dash/attack modification, only one per run.
If you're dead set on getting certain skills, make sure to get the attack and dash you like the best and then banish it once you get offered a level up. You can never be offered those types ever again even from other gods.
