The fact that you end up with like five gods, and each god has mostly crap abilities, along with the fact that theres no inherent reroll honestly makes the game garbage. Your entire run is pretty much determined by the first three or four level-ups (what gods and talents you get) making everything else pointless.
Even characters are sort of garbage. Every character seems worse than the Fighter/Knight starting character, with only the mage character being sort of interesting since she at least has ranged attack.
Once you've gotten a skill from 3 different gods, no other god ever shows up.
It's the same with dash/attack modification, only one per run.
If you're dead set on getting certain skills, make sure to get the attack and dash you like the best and then banish it once you get offered a level up. You can never be offered those types ever again even from other gods.
