How's the game?

How's the progress (meta progress) , how many areas, how many characters, how complete does it feel ? A lot of reviews are like 1 - 2 hours in playtime and I honestly can't trust those. So I want to know how is this game in the bullet hell genre.

In its current iteration? Its like a 4/10. There are tons of problems with core design.

From a thematic and gameplay perspective it is maybe like an 8/10.

They need to fix a lot. That being said its like $6 so whatever.

its aight, i mean, Do you like Hades? Do you like VS esque games?

i wouldnt say its bullet hell. More like aoe at mobs feet hell.

You move slow while attacking.

Mobs can spam aoe more than you can dodge :D.

it has like 0 meta progression. What progression exists is VERY vague.

The text is cringe. like literal cringe with an npc even going "<.<"

unfortunately the 1-2 hour reviews are pretty accurate.

id wait till it gets updated, somehow the dev is out of loop for these games despite them releasing daily for like a year

Metaprogression is mostly through gear and it does make difference. But don't expect to clear higher difficulties with your eyes closed even after getting good items. This game needs you to decide when to move while attacking, when to dash and when to just walk away (since attacking slows you down). You can't just decimate everything offscreen thanks to fully specced metaprogression here.
Also, to start getting good gear you need to beat game once and ramp up difficulty. Here are few item examples. https://imgur.com/a/l42Mp9Y

just because steam users dont mind half baked games doesent mean its good. for a roguelite is very bad.
