For example, the basic attack of a class is not a spell, did you know that? even though the Sorcerer literally casts a fireball, you'd think the Knight uses attacks and the Sorcerer spells but no. There are shrines which offer buffs to either Attacks or Spells. The game needs to introduce the Spell tag to abilities that are spells.
And yeah I figured that about autocast. Sorcerer is a really bad class because while attacking you have no movement speed. And movement speed is king in this game, I've noticed.
Anyway, I had decent fun for a few hours. Game needs a lot of work, including ability to start focusing on builds instead of every class just getting everything, but they got something good going on here for sure.

yellow:spell
orange: status/other?
most stuff that isnt your main attack will be a spell, including autocasts and procs
I don't understand what you're even talking about. Every time you level you get a choice of 3 abilities. And they all have a description that tells you what they do. And on some of them you can hold Alt to get further info.
I don't know what you are talking about when you say you don't know which ones are the spells... They all have a tag on them that says whether it's a passive or not. You have a base attack, and then you have things like meteor,Chain Lightning,Lightning bolt,Plague Ravens, etc. It's all very basic and easy to understand.
If you read the tooltip for burning the debuff just does % dmg to the enemy it doesn't scale at all.
