Will demo progress (such as item stash) carry over into early access?

Curious whether I should really jump into demo and grind a little.... or hold off. Not tryna grind at all if all progress will be cleared haha.

They said it would most likely not since this is just an early demo but that when early access comes out they were thinking of doing something for those who participated
