What do I have to do to get rid of tree stumps?

Trying to build my Visitation room and a tree stump is blocking my placement of a table, so yeah.

I can't, when I click on it it doesn't have any options to do anything to it.

They disappear by themselves, wait a bit.

There's a mod in the workshop that will let you sell them manually.

I've always right-clicked, then clicked dismantle.

Wall menu > clear indoor area.

They only have the option to "follow" the stump, have the same issue, no dismantle, no dump, will have to wait but it's really annoying, you'd think that would be removed before you started laying a foundation...

You know, i normally don't comment on necro threads, but I am having this exact same issue currently. It seems they still go away over time, but I have several tree stumps in boxes in one of my Storage rooms from time to time. O_o

Dump the tree instead of dismantle it. There will be no stump left.

I used to have this problem too. You will probably have to wait for them to disappear. Prevention is key.

Best work around:
1. place dirt over the trees.
2. wait for the workers to cut down the trees.
3. lay foundation.
4. watch your workers place your stumps in the garbage where they belong as they build your building

Alternatively:
1. go in under escape mode
2. aquire a lighter
3. burn the stumps
4. laugh maniacally surrounded by fire as the world ends
