Can prisoners climb over perimeter walls with ropes?
I am a bit fuzzy about the new escape mechanisms. I know they can climb over fences and normal walls with a rope and they can climb fences without it if they're strong. But what about perimeter walls?

I'm pretty sure that they can't climb over perimeter walls, as they are very tall and have more barbed wire than fences.

I'm interested in this as well if anyone has a concrete answer

Yes, they can.

I think you have to double the wall to stop them. During this test game I observed they seemed unwilling to try on any wall that wasn't the outermost wall. I had to tear down part of the outer wall to encourage them to try.

Like Meka says yes there can there can dig under it and there can climb it. what I do is placing some towers a round it works always. A tip there always take the shortest rout and the route with less guards and more open space.

Does it by chance take longer for them to climb a parimeter wall than it does a fence?

Dont really now beacus there all climb on my game over that wall. It take a round 30 sec. And I think it depends on if there are strong or not

Take longer? I don't think so. I tested it on a few different set ups and they climb at about the same rate no matter what. If there is a difference it's too small to matter.
