Stuck in the apartment

I checked a walthrough just in case I was missing something and apparently I don't need to select any other clue, but the game seems to be waiting for something else:

Did he move the photo? If so, can you view it now?

sorry i noticed the video afterwards, u need to posses the cop then use Q to infuence him i think and then check the photo

He hasn't moved the photo, in fact he is supossed to move it after I select the clue in green, right?

That's what I have done but nothing happens.

I also had this porblem. I was lucky enough to solve it.

I restarted the checkpoint and it placed me back by the police line before the apartment.
I then proceded into the apartment to trigger the cutscene of Baxter looking for the girl.
After the cutscene I then revealed the "Killer Searching" clue on the right of the apartment which triggered a cutscene.
After the cutscene I then revealed the "Girl Hiding" clue which triggered a cutscene.
I didn't get any other clues. I then answered the "Why was the killer here ?" with those two clues only.
After the cutscene I went and checked the photos which then showed as "Obscured".
I possessed the police officer and influences him with the "Obscured" clue and then he successfully uncovers the pictures and you can continue with the investigation and find all the other clues.

had the same problem...unfortunately i had to redownload. The game worked fine after.

I dowloaded the game again but I have the same problem. Look at the video I recorded, after selecting the correct clue nothing happens:

I am having the same problem. I also checked a walkthrough to see what I might have missed but nothing happens after selecting the photo while possessing the cop.
I've tried both tintin1961 & Nyt Ryda's suggestions but did not work for me.
Shame, really started to like the game but I will wait till a patch or uninstal

After many attempts suddenly the game let me move on, so if you have the same problem I leave here the savegame data file that you can replace in your PC with the situation after resolving the case but still in the apartment:

You have to replce that file with the one you have in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\XXXXXXXXXX\233290\remote\savedata\fatecheckpoint0

I do have the same problem here. Thanks to Midnighter for his support, but I'm not willing to load someone elses safegame. Is there any other workaround?

same problem here..only a year later
amazing the Dev's would allow a well documented game breaking bug to stand
also amazing that Steam would sell a game that cannnot be played from the very start of the game
anyway...Midnighters file worked for me and allowed me to continue the game
pretty interesting game actually
no further game breaking bugs encountered thankfully
