u didnt have to spam it... i found 2 hours worht of collectibles in town and when my game crash i had to go back from finding the church... i tweeted them to let them know auto saving isnt actualy saving and they repsonded that they were looking into it
This sort of saving is incredibly outdated in trying to squeeze as much "replayability" as possible. People sometimes have stuff to do and don't want to keep playing until the next checkpoint pops up or risk losing progress and having to replay that part again later. It's annoying and a waste of time.
Because if you are following the plot as you are supposed to be doing,It's like losing the page mark of the favorite book you're reading and needing to start the chapter over again.
