Continue after credits
I know that officially you can't continue but is there any way to for example edit ini or save files to change your characters location? Or some noclip cheat so you can go out of the museum building. This is so f... stupid of the developers.. Why is the last save right AFTER the point of no return and no right BEFORE it? Like in any other games. So when you load the game after credits you'll be standing in front of the museum and not inside it. Or even simpler - they just could NOT block the exit and all would be right. So my point is - does anybody know any way out of the museum building in the end?

For example in "C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Murdered Soul Suspect\FateGame\Config\FateLevels.ini" you can find list of all levels. Maybe if I swap museum for some of the others then my character would be in some other building after loading the last save. Or there could be a way to modify the save files just slightly to change the character's location. Save files are in "STEAMFOLDER\userdata\USERID\233290\remote\SaveData". If anybody have any idea how to get out of the museum than please write it here. It could help not only me but any other players angered by this developer's decision. Thanks!

I was thinking about enabling the in-game console and since the game is running on Unreal Engine it could be possible with Cheat Engine. I found this article about enabling console in another UE based game (Batman) so maybe it'll work for Murdered too. But I've never used Cheat Engine so maybe somebody else could give it a try.

Another thing I tried is renaming the game files. I found out that the last checkpoint is loading "STEAMFOLDER\SteamApps\common\Murdered Soul Suspect\FateGame\CookedPCConsole\ep12_base.upk". So I tried to remove the file which loaded just a black screen with UI. After that I tried to duplicate ep09_base.upk and rename it to ep12_base.upk. Which worked in a way that the game loaded another level but the problem was that the character's position was off the map so I ended up falling under the ground. But nevertheless I tried the same method for every other file that had "_base" in it's name. It always worked and I was always in some other level but everytime under the ground and falling. On one file I was just about 10m under the ground I even saw the street lamps above me but I couldn't reach the surface. The game even saved so when I put the original ep12_base file to it's place the last checkpoint was already loading some other level but the character was under ground falling.

I think this method can work I just have to figure out how to move the character's position (within the save file or maybe with a console command "fly" or turning off gravity or some other way).

I actually made that mod long ago, and it works fine(no falling under the ground e.t.c.) i uploaded it here in steam guides, here it is: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=552385945

Thank you very much! I don't know how I missed that mod before. I was googling for solution and didn't found any and I probably didn't think of looking into guides here on Steam. As you've expected - I'm in fact really curious how you did it but I understand you forgot :D I'll try to deduce it from the mod itself.

Thx, no problem =) And i think you couldn't find it in google cause i'm not really name it correctly, i think i should change the name later to something more "google understandable" :steamhappy:
