Where do I get the Activation Code?

If you own the game on Steam, you do not need an activation code. Could you let me know what message you are receiving when trying to launch the game?

Edit: I should have mentioned that I'm trying the game on linux through proton which complicates things. Anyway, I just put in a refunded request.

Sorry, I didn't see the notification of your reply. My problem is similar or equal to Renderwut's problems.


As I open the game Ubisoft Connect asks for a key.

Hello, I'm having the same issue in 2024 (also on Linux):

Ubisoft Connect starts fine, but asks me for an activation key, despite having the game Far Cry 3 − Blood Dragon Game Key DLC. :-(

Following today's update, I've been able to go past Ubisoft's launcher and start the game without being asked for a CD key.
However, the game hangs on the "Tracking" loading screen…

If this is still the case and you are playing on PC using Windows OS, could you please take a look at the PC troubleshooting in the link below and go through any of the steps you may not have tried, then try again:
