Can't run the game in fullscreen without it crashing MSVCR100.dll

I have this bad problem where I can't load into my save game on fullscreen, if I do the game crashes with event viewer showing MSVCR100.dll or ntdll.dll for the crash. I tried both DX11 and DX9 both of them give me problems forcing me to play windowed which sucks since vsync is broken in windowed mode. Any help would be great I don't want to play in broken window mode.

hey, perhaps this will help: put game into windowed mode -> chose your screen resolution -> fullscreen mode
