Skipping introduction?

Is there any way to skip through the introduction? It's way lengthy and the worse thing is that there is no way to skip ahead!! For the love of Zeus help me!!

That's not quite the "skipping" I was asking about. No, I'm talking about skipping the entire bloody thing; the entire intro thing. I can't get by it for the life of me. And just when I kill a few more, I die and then have to start the whole thing over again from the beginning. It's kind of stupid actually.

I just discovered via Discord, that its the first mission and not the tutorial introduction I had been calling it. For that blunder I apologize.

My issue is when I have to protect Spider when he's behind the computer terminal. He then dies (it's part of the story) and I have to survive and look for a way out. That's as far as I've gotten and that's about 2 or 3 hrs into the game. I just give up because I can't sit there that long and play a game.

Is that normal?

You can't skip it and the whole game is only about 3 or 4 hours long

After spider is downed, all you have to do is make it to the access panel, you no longer have to shoot anyone. Just run to the spot marked on the HUD.
