In-game cheats?

I know near to nothing about PA, I only picked it up yesterday evening. I am getting there.

I just want to say it is fun as hell but I have a question.

I notice in the controls it says about spawning avatars and avatar factories. I want to spawn a few avatars for a 1v4 style of battle. When I try anything like copy and pasting units nothing happens. I hosted a server with only AI and myself, I was set as host and had a handicap. I tried everything I could and nothing happened. Do I need to enter a console command or something?

I honestly have no clue.

I don't think in this case Avatars mean the Commanders.
I think it jsut means like, Vehicle or Bot factories.

I read through that and decided to install PAMM which made a mods.json so how do I edit the code of it so then I can spawn stuff.

Sorry to bug you but I am terrible with this stuff.

You need different mod manager if you want to use server mods, e.g PAMM only support client mods.

search "Atom shell" on Uber forums. Though I personally prefer just to edit "server_mods/mods.json" by hands :)

What software can I use to edit it? Would be quicker since the link you sent me has code to enable the cheats. Notepad++ does not work.

Yeah I know, the problem is when I make the mods.json and try to edit it with Notepad++ I get an error.

EDIT: NVM normal notepad works

It's not for the cheats as such, it is for a custom game to try out sort of like a juggernaut mode in every FPS ever.

I'm well aware of "God mode" and unlimited ammo/gun cheats in FPS's and still dont see a point. Also this isnt an FPS and you are missing the entire point behind progression in an RTS like this. I imagine you will get bored of the game after cheating for an hour or two.

It's just cool to run game as spectator, and then take control of one of AI sometimes. Or just copy more units for this AI. So it's more like playing in god simulator than just cheating.

E.g in PA you can get control over AI player or part of it's army while AI still active.

You can as well switch vision on the fly so AI start to see move map too and start being more aggressive!
