I don't think in this case Avatars mean the Commanders.
I think it jsut means like, Vehicle or Bot factories.

Do they only read the last page in a book too?
It's not for the cheats as such, it is for a custom game to try out sort of like a juggernaut mode in every FPS ever.
I'm well aware of "God mode" and unlimited ammo/gun cheats in FPS's and still dont see a point. Also this isnt an FPS and you are missing the entire point behind progression in an RTS like this. I imagine you will get bored of the game after cheating for an hour or two.
E.g in PA you can get control over AI player or part of it's army while AI still active.
You can as well switch vision on the fly so AI start to see move map too and start being more aggressive!
