Loading times. Anyone else taking forever?

I love this game, I really do but for some reason it just takes forever to load even the simplest of things. Weather it's joining a lobby or starting a game it just seems to ♥♥♥♥ out. Most the time I can't even do a match because by the time it loads everyone has already selected where to drop and have already started without me. Anyone else having this problem? My computer is pretty awesome so I doubt it's because my hardware or anything is to weak. I can post the specs too if that will help and my drivers all seem to be up to date.

Are you playing on Window, Mac or Linux?

If it's Mac or Linux please copy and paste your system information in this topic:
In Steam window -> top menu bar -> click "Help" -> click "System Information"

Im getting this problem as well vary long load and sluggish game play. didnt have this before update.

Any chance you guys using any mods?
Can you try to disable all of them?

Drivers really old:

Card name: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
Driver Date/Size: 12/19/2012 16:08:04, 115♥♥♥♥ bytes

You need to download and install latest drivers from AMD website:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2064

And yeah please check your system memory usage when you get "slow loading".
Possible it's just 4GB RAM not enough now because UI RAM usage increased.

No problems here, but can you please check your memory usage as well?

Though you both using AMD graphics cards so please try those two workarounds:

1 - Try to run game without "Steam Community Overlay":
Right click the game in your Library -> Select Properties -> On the General tab, uncheck the box next to Enable Steam Community In-Game

2 - Try to run it using standalone launcher:

I just want to be sure your problem not caused by Steam, it's did caused such issues before for sure.

Im using nvidia geforce 610m windows 8.1 with everything up to date driver wise. I wasnt having this problem before the latest patch.

Yeah, I updated drivers and it seemed to help the most. I haven't noticed much with steam overlay. I guess maybe it is just Uber since I know their servers are kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now. Next update is supposed to be better servers so maybe that will fix it.
