Total Annihilation Remake?

Like title say, this game reminds me on Total Annihilation made by CaveDog in ´97
Building system Commander and Units.
Dont missunderstand me, i loved this game and i´m looking forward to play Planitary Annihilation, all i want to know, is this game inspired by this classic game?

It's not exactly remake because this game have own style and many things are different, but yes this game inspired by TA.
