Can you have your steam PA key redeemed for the non steam PA download from uber? Kinda doubt it but thought it might be worth an ask.

You can't convert Steam key, but even if you own game on Steam you still able to use non-Steam version if you want.

First make sure your UberNet and Steam accounts are linked:
https://uberent.com/user/linksteam
Then download and install Uber launcher (Windows-only) or Linux/OS X version of game:
https://store.uberent.com/Download/Install?titleId=4
