How do you use Teleporters?

For some reason mine would not work it span up for a few seconds looked like it was active then stopped

(obviously I had two of them one on a different planet - the one I wanted to invade) Also if you want units to go though do you click on the the sending teleporter or the receiveing?

Note I had some energy problems don't know if thats relevent

Teleporters require a positive energy economy to function.

That might explain why it was not really working....Oh well I won anyway (advanced orbital space tech is awesome.)

you also need to click on them - they don't self connect

left click on one so you get the two way arrow icon then right click on the one you want to link to.
There isn't a limit (apart from energy/metal) to how many you can have but only 1 active link at a time
