- Teleporter

- Unit Cannon
You will have to do a bit of work before you can land your whole army on a planet that is clearly under enemy control. They will not just let you land there and fetch the red carpet. For example:
- clear the area where you want to establish a beachhead with a nuke (or plenty)
-- or, if you are fighting AI, send a nuke right at the main base, which is located where all the orbital stuff is massing up, and clear the airforce with one blow.
- take over the orbital layer first, and build anchors to secure a spot for the teleport(s)
- scout the planet with radar satelites, and choose a location where the enemy is weak
- send multiple orbital fabbers to differnt spots on the planet, to build multiple teleports
If you really can not breach the orbital layer, dont even bother sending an army, just concentrate on nukes.
Btw, the transporters are not quite as useless as they seem. You need to build a large ammount of them though, at least if you want to transport your army.
Many thanks for pointing out the nukes, didn't know they were interplanetary, very good to know.
didn't see the unit cannon in the build menu, prolly cause i'm trying to play the game in galactic mode, so i was just trying to spam the contested planet with those astreus 1 unit 1000 times the hassle transports.
Again, thanks for the tips
Depends on your economy. If it's not that good, ie you're usually around the negative but are floating energy massively, build a bunch of tier 2 air fabs and all focus on a single silo.
If you're floating metal and energy, or are making a large amount of metal, build multiple nuclear silos.
Don't build nukes at all if you're stalling on energy.
You can set steam to use PTE by right clicking on PA in your library, properties, betas tab and selecting the PTE from the drop down menu. Or use the Uber launcher and there will be an option to change to PTE there. Definitely give it a look, just to try and give feedback!
