ouch, just looked in the armory....
is always gonna be that we have to pay for commanders? if so then that kinda sucks

Every commander is the same except for the way they look, so they will never make you pay for special abilities or anything. These are commanders that we wouldn't ever even have a chance at using if they weren't on sale there, because they were actually created for the $1000+ kickstarter backers that got their own custom commanders. Some of those backers have chosen to have their commanders put on the store so that other people can have a chance to use them. The backers get a cut of the profit from those sales to help them earn back some of the money they spent, but we will never get to know just how much goes to them because it is probably decided in secret negotiations.

Don't worry about microtransations in PA though. If they ever tried to make it pay to win, the PA community would be united against the devs. In this case all they're doing is putting things on the market that we otherwise wouldn't have access to anyway, but you can just not buy any and you won't be missing out on anything.

I would just call them unlockable commander skins. You don't actually download anything new if you buy it and there are sometimes ways to get a new commander without buying it. (It's very rare, but there are two people out there that won a tournament and unlocked the Beast commander)

I hope we might get some new skins in the future too...even themed ones! Who wouldn't want to use that Ubersanta commander right? Right?!

I do think they will be adding more commanders. There's one really cool one in the Early Access retail box that we'll be able to buy eventually.

Please make it MUCH clearer that what you buy is cosmetic only, a friend saw it when he was browsing to buy it and backed off instantly - many people are just very allergic to in-app purchases.

There's also negative-opinion based artwork on the community... and it got hidden and it wasn't even the one who posted it who hidden it, even though it's at the top rated of all time... What's wrong about that?

I wonder if there's gonna be a censorship now... wouldn't be the first time, and it wouldn't even be the last if ya also count the scams, kickstarter fake frauds.... directing downvotes on negative reviews... etc..
