Here are some solutions to the most common issues people seem to be facing:

Q1: I messed up my controls by binding everything to the same key! How do I reset them?
A: Windows: Navigate to %APPDATA%/.LUFTRAUSERS/ and delete the file input0.txt
OSX/Linux: Open a terminal and type: mv ~/.LUFTRAUSERS/input0.txt ~/.LUFTRAUSERS/input0.txt.2

Q2: Where is my save file stored?
A: There are 2 different places a save file can be stored. One is in %APPDATA%/.LUFTRAUSERS/ which is used when Steam is not running, the other is in your_steam_installation_folder/userdata (In windows, usually located at C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata/). Then search for the file "save.0.0.96e".
These files are interchangable, but be careful: Overwriting either will get that save file lost!

Q3: The game does not work!
A: These are usually the solutions:
1. Disable the Steam Overlay: Right-click the game title in the game library, click on "Properties" and uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" in the "General" tab.
2. If you have an Intel graphics card, update the driver to the latest version. Go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ and download the latest drivers (the easiest way is using the Intel® Driver Update Utility)
3. If you were able to play the game during the first 2 days after release, there is a chance your Cloud save file was corrupted. Remove it or overwrite it using your local save file (see Q2)
4. If you have a virus scanner, disable it to see if that changes anything.
Q3B: It still doesn't work!
A: Open a new topic. Right-click the game title in the game library, click on "Properties" and select "Browse Local Files..." in the "LOCAL FILES" tab. Navigate to the bin/ folder and put the contents of the HTML file in the new topic. We will try to help you out if you addressed steps 1 through 3.

Q4: How do I exit the game?
A: Go to the launch screen and press escape. Or, go to the options menu (through the launch screen) and choose "quit game". Or, put the game in windowed mode (By pressing F11 or Alt+Enter) and close the window.

Q5: Is there a pixel perfect scaling option?
A: Yes! Use the F1, F2 and F3 function keys on your keyboard.

Maybe now that Nuclear Throne is full release, Vlambeer can finally make an official patch and stop lying about there being no fixes for the glitched CLASSIFIED missions. I won't hold my breath, though.

I've been having trouble finding the save file. I've checked the appdata folder but haven't found anything that resembles a save file in it. I want to transfer that to the steam folder (long story) so that my progress carries over to the copy I bought.

I have a problem not with the game but the trading cards not dropping. I have 9.6 hours on this game, majority of that played after the trading cards were added on, but still nothing...

Did deleting the file input0 work and i cant map the controls, i can change them like how you do it in games for consoles. That messed up my controles because i cant understand them.

I did the whole "input0.txt" business multiple times, but the game keeps loading the cloud file every time it starts up. I really like this game, but if I can't play it correctly just because there's no "reset default control options" button, I'm gonna be pretty steamed.

Why didn't you just add a option to select that resets the controls then? You just acknowleged you know about it as a problem after all.

Also it doesn't accept half the inputs from 3 different controls I've tried. Let me guess you worked in support for Xbox controlls but screw everything else?

This isn't for the PC version, but I own the psvita port, and by now WOULD have gotten every single thing done + unlocked the super duper secret spooky McDeath submarine plane but there's a bug for the vita that makes one of the missions, kill a classified No. 1, impossible to complete, because it just doesn't register. I've killed the laser ace probably around ten times now, 3 of which were with the part that had that challenge active, but it just doesn't work. Please fix, or even better remove the challenge completely (because it's a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, even if it did work it could be hours and hours of constant play before you even see ONE laser ace (er, pair, cuz they always seem to spawn in pairs), and even then there's not a huge chance of killing it because it will just aimbot laser your-plane's-tits-off you to death before you ever even know it's there, so it's almost completely RNG.

I know that the Vita is basically a joke at this point, even though I feel it gets a bad rap (who WOULDN'T want to be able to play numerous great pc and console games, like spelunky, guacamelee, this game, binding of isaac rebirth, and many more, all on the go) and that Luftrausers is basically too old to recieve dev support for anything less than bugs that make the game crash instantly or that kind of thing, considering it's not a triple-A thing, but please.

Just press ESC till it says "customize controls" and customize how you want it.

I'm having trouble with the directions given about the terminal commands. I use a mac, and I typed the input command mv ~/.LUFTRAUSERS/input0.txt into my terminal, but I don't know what to do from there. I tried accessing the input file through local files, but I can't find it. I'm not at all tech savvy, and I just wanna play the game with a PS4 controller, which was working fine till I even touched the configure controls option... help?
