FF & TLR, My Modern Experience

My love for Final Fantasy has been hurt right after XII and XIII came into the cut, But This game sorta makes up for it since it was a different JRPG and it brought a lot of unique elements to the mat.. Tell me am I the only one who feels this way? I just cant be. And with XV coming out... Im already paranoid.. It looks great, I'm happy they kept a lot of the old monsters like The Titan, from 8 9 10 perhaps 7. I'm glad tehy kept The similar Looking FFVIII Leviathan model intact, but it seemed like a gameplay that was more "Actiony" and well so long for Turn based actions which I thought they were great since it actually gave you the tools to plan out strategies... and welll i know some people will say *future this *future that *Past that .. but remember that for a game to stay to its roots,it will require more than its story and characters; gameplay counts, And this might be a bit too early for this post but lets see wether This Final Fantasy would compensate its legacy fans. - LyriCa

FF should have stayed turn based. When you change the game as much as 12 did they should have just called it something else.

yeah; i would respect the franchise more now if they would state that its like a sidedish to the FF series.

Errr.... but FF7 isn't turn based?

The Final Fantasy games change quite a bit with every new release. GameTrailers did an excellent retrospective back about six years ago that's worth a look.

You have an option between active time battle and real time
