Team walls should be able to connect

I have been playing multiplayer with a team member and our estates touch each other but we cannot connect our walls. The enemy sends troops in the 1 tile space between our walls. Is there a way to fix this problem?

you cant connect because you can troll your team mate by putting an wall in front of his gate, and he wont be able to remove your walls. thats why you cannot do that.

tip: if you want to build an castle with somebody else you should take both control over 1 castle.

I get what you are saying, but I am talking strictly on the border of the two estates. Neither player can build on the "shared" border line, hence no wall connection.
