English localization is buggy

Tooltips etc would be helpful if I knew what they said. Also units are mute.

Changing the language of individual games

The language of many games can be changed independently from the Steam client language.

Log into your Steam account
Right click on a game from the Steam game library and choose Properties.
Go to the Language tab
Select the language you wish to use from the drop-down menu
Click OK
If the game supports the language you have selected, files for that language may need to be downloaded before you can play.

Already tried switching languages. Only the English localization in the menu is bugged.

How about switch to English, then validate files. Perhaps English locale files did not get downloaded.

same problem here....... no sound and all text are bugged, tried validate the game and reinstall multiple times still doest work.

Same here. Nur komisch das ich nur Englisch und Polnisch ausgewählt habe. Soll normal auch deutsch sein!

Hello,

Please delete the following two files :

\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader 2\assets\interface\i18n\lang.txt
\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader 2\assets\fr.v

Once you have done this verify your Steam cache.

Sadly, I'm missing those files. Can anybody else see if they're also missing those files?
