3-5gbs i can do noting like 15gbs tho

The game's predecessor, Stronghold 3, Was about 4.5GBS or so big. Because this game is largely based on the same 3D engine with what I assume will be more features, I think around
5GB - 6.5GB would be a fair estimate.

this leads me to another question could my comp even run this game?

specs

GeForce GT 320
4gb ram
intel r core i5 cpu 3.20ghz processor

its abit outdated but i can still run borderlands 2 fine

i dont want to buy this game if i cant play it because fps to low

Min spec card (8800gt) gets a score of 756 on http://www.videocardbenchmark.net, and your card gets 550. Your processor and memory exceed the min.

So download shouldn't exceed 6gb.

Minimum:
OS: Windows® XP/Vista/7/8 with latest service packs
Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2Ghz or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GT 512MB or AMD Radeon™ HD 2900XT 512MB or better

I think the game will run on your computer, but I don't know how it will perform. Your video card is below the minimum spec, and your cpu is higher. So those two might break even for min requirement.
