4k resolution small UI problem

I wanna play this game at 4k resolution, but than the UI gets very small. I can change to 1080P but than the game looks ugly. any fix for making the UI bigger?

The 'end' key toggles it on and off, I know this is a longshot, but maybe doing that resizes it. I actually checked everywhere except the support forums on Firefly's website, and found nothing.

There was something about "Right click the game shortcut ... Properties ... Compatibility ... Override high DPI scaling behavior ", but the game shortcut doesn't have those options for me. I can't even find the game .exe or whatever. It's magical.

So I can't try anything, nor do I have a 4k monitor, but I tried. Unless you want to run a 1920x1080 on a 4k, then I may know.

thanks for your reply. the game.exe is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold Crusader 2\bin\win32_release. I its true that the .exe file doesnt have that options. You first have to make an shortcut from the .exe file than you can change it. i tried the override the hig DPI scaling behavoir, but nothing changed :( Playing on 1920 x 1080 isnt an option because everthing looks horrible than.

just tried the end key, but also no effect. also run the shortcut as administrator.

flip you monitor, play vertical.
Stonghold games are way better verticaly.
