Classic Stronghold just has the problem that the lack of a solo AI limits your ability to have fun after campaign.
Legends the magic infused into the game makes it hit or miss.
Stronghold 2 I just can't rate as best since it originally launched with a bug that ruined your ability to do the good path and back in the era of buy a disk internet access wasn't a given to download the fix.
Stronghold 3 just felt like it lacked a lot of polish and was rushed.
Crusader 2 its mostly living up to its predecessor problems and if your going to implement healing it should have been something you have to pull your unit back to an apothecary building and let it slowly heal there at a stationary position.
Warlords haven't played but sounds more like just a reskin with Asain themes and adding a hero unit.
