Game won't launch
I've gone through, perhaps, all there is to see on this topic. Simply put, I click play, it says running for a few moments, then crashes without a single error. Nothing. I've tried compadibility mode, restarting my pc, reinstalling, verifying, basically everything I've seen on every forum ever. Nothing works. Please help.

You can start the crusader 2 exe direct from the intallement folder and look if you recieve an error message something like a directx file is missed for example.

I've been doing so, it does the same thing with no error at all.

Maybe try asking Firefly directly or maybe your computer can't handle it.

My specs are a Nvidia 1070 GTX, 16gb of ram, 8gb vram, intel so on and so fourth. It's good on that end. I suppose I'll have to, as theres no other recourse at this point.

Damn. I've contacted firefly and I'll basically just have to pray but at this point I may have to refund. If I don't get an answer within a few days I'll refund. I really wanted to play :(

Unfortunately I have not and Firefly has been unable to help the problem. Ultimately I had to refund before my window was up :(.

Well, that's disappointing to hear.

Yeah, its sad because I really wanted to play. I'll keep following up with firefly as long as they reply but they seem stumped too. They've told me to verify and reinstall and I did both. I even sent a DXdiag file so they could see if the hardware was the problem. So far, nothing has been suggested that works.

I used an external harddrive it works that way if you change the install destination. It's your HDD

Yeah, I eventually got it to work for a few different games, though I returned stronghold by then. I did the same, though I just moved it out of my steam folder and moved it to a different folder inside the same HDD, so its not the HDD, just the pathing I guess. Very strange.
