Is this game fun to play with BOTS?

Since this game is 90% off I'm getting it. But I dont have friends to play with and am wondering if it is fun to create a custom game with bots? I remember it was so much fun back in stronghold crusader 1

for a short time it is , but you will get bored soon because it will be so easy for you , with time u may win 7 vs 1 np.
for friends , you dont need to have , just join lobbies and play with random people , or add active people from here or whatever.

For me it is fun like hell with bots but i dont know if you will think so because i dnont know you personally. :) I played over 100 hours only with bots.

Its a bit different because it is more or less useless to destroy the economy of bots because they get some free troops for attacking but i love the game.

Some troops also have special abilitys know but the bots dont use them and there are new troops for christs and arabs.

Are there many people in the lobby? What about ping issue? I live in SEA so US server usually gives me 250+ ping

Hey thank for giving me your opinion, are the dlcs worth it? They are also on sales so I'm thinking of picking them up too

The dlc consist of a new skirmish trail some new crest and 2 new bots per dlc, exept of the now buyable pre order bonus campaings which consists of 2 or 3 missions.

I like the new bots, they are different from the existing ones, uses different troop combinations and some of these are very hard but not unbeatable if you know how to deal with crossbowman ore heavy troops like swordman ore pikeman.

They have also different personalities and as i said i like the new ones so for me the answer is yes, they worht it but again, its my opinion :)

Edit: i dont know how the new and old bots are in englisch because i use the german version but i heared that they are a bit more funny at englisch, i dont know if thats true.

Maybe you could watch a bit of an test video tu proof that when you will do so but you dont have to :)

This game can handle 4 players max in a lobby , u can add another 4 bots , but for humans its 4 max , and yeah u can find many lobbies specially on sales.

I guess the type of connection is Peer to peer , its like someone hosts the server and the others connect to him , so it depends on the distance between you and the lobby leader.

I believe the new bots from DLCs are actually from Stronghold cursader 1 and if that is the case then they have pretty funny speeches, definitely gonna get them too

No, they are not from crusader 1, the only onle which is from crusader 1 is the pig. The khan, the teamplar, the duke, the princess, the hermit, the emperor and the chakal are not from crusader 1 but as i think they are cool bots.

PS: maybe i wrote a few englisch bot names wrong, sorry for that i know how to write them in german but in englisch there could be some spellin issues. :)

The campaign is the skirmish trails you advance through, so yes there is a campaign.

And there are some mini campaigns outside of the skirmish trails but there is no peace campaign

Buy all DLCs and you will have a lot to play. I always play custom game. I use them of me, Templar, Jackal, Richard.... vs some strong enemys. You will have a lot of fut in custom game.

I've played it through once, gave it a break for about a year and played again. It is one of those games you can come back to for me, good value.

The offline games are too easy for me so I just play in open lobby or with my friends. You will come across unexperienced players and pros.
