Why are you punishing ultrawide users in both landscape and portrait orientation?
Early Access was unrestricted, now it's locked to 16:9 and 9:16 with letter or pillarboxing in portrait or landscape presentation.

Thankfully, using Windows for portrait orientation instead of the in-game option to rotate still gives you a full view in portrait on a 21:9 screen (9:21).

This is just dumb, and manual camera still needs a lot more options than minor angle adjustment.

Indeed, and it's even more unuseful in portrait, since the difference between min and max is about nothing
It's absurd how rigid things are again. Shouldn't have to hope modders are able to make things better here. This is extremely basic stuff.

Not to mention theres no support afaik for virtual cabinets
This issue has been driving me nuts. There's no excuse for Ultrawide support working fine in Early Access and then being withdrawn at launch. It's one of the features that made me decide to make the switch from FX3 in the first place. And they removed it!

It's even more silly that it's not working in portrait for virtual cabinets.

The camera and the game's ability to work with unconventional aspect ratios and resolutions need a lot of work.

Devs: please fix this!
Ultrawide worked surprisingly well during EA, however it was not perfect and led to various visual and presentation issues with the camera system.

Third parties have strict rules and guidelines for the presentation of the tables, so it it was likely deemed unacceptable or risky to leave tables with unrestricted viewing constraints.

I agree it's disappointing and it would be fantastic to have it reinstated, it might just take some additional time and work to support it officially.
I would like to see ultrawide support.

Can we get a comment from Zen staff about it?
Is it on the to-do list or more on the "if we have the opportunity" side? (scnr!)
An official answer is appreciated! Thank you!

Bump. Could we get an official comment about this?

This feature was in early access, for crying out loud, and it was taken out. I don't think it's unreasonable to want to know if it's coming back.

This. It's very likely that due to the glitchiness of the feature companies they're licensing IP from asked that the feature be removed until it's fixed.
If I'm playing on 16:9 and I want the game window to be a tall rectangle on my screen (pinball cab orientation), The game window will always revert to 16:9 when loading a screen or a table.

This sucks because sometimes I don't want to tult my monitor but I want the portrait view modes.

Bump. Again. Just fill out the damn screen, please.
Why aren't they allowing ultrawide? I need it.

.

Hold on, so there is no 21:9 support because the table owners opposed to this?

Sorry was trying to use the new monitor arm and I was surprised to see the pillarboxed aspect ratio. It does not make sense that horizontally there is no issue but vertically there is.
They're never going to fix this. I've given up on Zen as a company, and I've stopped buying anything new from them except the Williams packs. It's become pretty clear that they really dont care about customer feedback.

(If you really want to be annoyed, know that Pinball M supports ultrawide with no issues, but their flagship product still doesn't.)
