Indeed, and it's even more unuseful in portrait, since the difference between min and max is about nothing
It's even more silly that it's not working in portrait for virtual cabinets.
The camera and the game's ability to work with unconventional aspect ratios and resolutions need a lot of work.
Devs: please fix this!
Third parties have strict rules and guidelines for the presentation of the tables, so it it was likely deemed unacceptable or risky to leave tables with unrestricted viewing constraints.
I agree it's disappointing and it would be fantastic to have it reinstated, it might just take some additional time and work to support it officially.
Is it on the to-do list or more on the "if we have the opportunity" side? (scnr!)
An official answer is appreciated! Thank you!
This feature was in early access, for crying out loud, and it was taken out. I don't think it's unreasonable to want to know if it's coming back.
This. It's very likely that due to the glitchiness of the feature companies they're licensing IP from asked that the feature be removed until it's fixed.
This sucks because sometimes I don't want to tult my monitor but I want the portrait view modes.
Hold on, so there is no 21:9 support because the table owners opposed to this?
Sorry was trying to use the new monitor arm and I was surprised to see the pillarboxed aspect ratio. It does not make sense that horizontally there is no issue but vertically there is.
(If you really want to be annoyed, know that Pinball M supports ultrawide with no issues, but their flagship product still doesn't.)
