MECHANIC QUEST PLS HELP

Talking about the first quest you get i only found 5 pieces for the mechanic- i looked everywere for the last one but i couldnt find -im in the moment of the escape and i guess that maybe it comes late in the story ? any help ?

When you have escaped you can never go back so you have to finish all side quests before you start the escape. The mechanic pieces are found in the POW camp and the crater area. Soem appear in places you might have looked before the quest started.

Came here looking for answers, but I ended up finding it myself. If you're missing the same piece I am, you will find it just outside the mess hall. Turn left when leaving the mess, then turn right when you get to the sign that says '15'. There's a pile of scrap there. Didn't notice it due to the lighting. If that's not the one you're missing, the rest are either in that area or the crater. None are in the cistern. Hope this helps.

welp, there's another part to the quest. Just 'cause I'm a nice guy, I'll tell you where to find the next parts:
1.The shed in the dogmaster's area
2.South part of the crater zone, behind the storage tank
3.Under the tent near the enterence to the Dust area
4&5. Behind the mechanic, northeast corner behind the tanks.
