Been checking out Spiders older RPGS recently and just wondering is this a worth to grab/play? Thnx in advance.

I recently found Technomancer and then GreedFall, but this game came before both of them. If anyone still plays it or even visits this forum, I'm looking for an idea of what to expect from this game. I've already bought it; it was only a dollar on sale but I'm still wondering how it holds up to Technomancer at least....

I understand why my review got downvotes, it's pretty blunt. But honestly... I don't understand why this game has a following. PLEASE explain it to me. I'm not trolling... I'll accept your responses. I just think that the plot, the setting, the "quests", and the characters are garbage. You spend HOURS in the same few areas running back and forth. The Riddick games aren't even that banal. The combat system is SO bad. From what I've read I don't really need to elaborate on that. Oh my god the characters. ...

I mean really, everyone just has horrible reasons to hate it, so is there anybody else who sees how good this game is?

I found that having the serum as currency with the merchants almost forces a player to be "bad". "Bad" because I took the serum from gangs and thugs who attacked me on sight is not really a bad choice, its self defense. Never leave an enemy behind you, so I always choose to kill people who attack me. SO I think using serum as a "bad" modifier was a bad choice for currency for the game....
