Help the mechanic and dog quest question (slight spoiler)

Hi, I have found 5/6 metal, in the camp area (mess/sand pit , where bob is etc...). Are the 6/6 metals somewhere else ? And the wrench ? Does anyone knows ? Also for the dog quest I gave the saliva to the vet , but no matter how much i wait he never give me a serum/cure ... Always tell me to come back later.... Anybody got luck ?

Make some other quests and he will gives you the cure.
The parts for the mechanic are in the same area.

The vet glitched on me and is now floating above the counter. I can't turn it in. I also have 5/6 parts. Pretty frustrating.

Edit: Found the last part, but the chef is still floating. Oh well.

I think one of the parts is in the area where dog trainer dude is.
Also I gave the cook the samples then went to where you go talk to the guy to get the quest to clear out the moles and the guy with the dog outside you have to kill his dog because it's all rabbid now and after that I went and got the vaccine.

Only thing I can sggest is go back to previously looted areas. I found some parts in piles I knew I had looted before- seems that they only appear once the quest is received, so it is possible to miss them without realising.

On the other hand its only one quest, and I can live without completing all of them on this run through.

the sixth one is actually a box by the dog trainer, and as soon as you give the samples to the cook, go to the sargents dog and after you kill him the cure is done.
