Need Pointers With The Coin Killer<spoilers>

I've brought Faith back and she gave me the quest called "The Coin Killer." She didn't said anything useful and the only thing that the log showed was to look for clues. So I've searched all over the place, hoping to trigger it, but had no luck whatsoever.

So yeah, could use some help.

Go about your other quests, one of them will coincide with it.

I have the problem that it seem like both coud be the killer, the drugs lead to the both. the hat guy when admit he sells it when you kill him, but then it is to late for the info. The Coin itself did not seem to lead to one of them, just lead to the area.

Talk to the security guard at the market. Ask him what the killer looks like and he'll give you a description.

no he tells you the description the guy she left with. does not mean what it is the killer, that happen 2 days before the killing, the story about a lover coud be true. Why I was hoping the coins whoud lead to 1 person.

You can talk to Tranquility, the bartender in the slums, about the coin.

yes and if you follow that lead, you just find the one that makes them and he set you to the area where the 2 suspects are. The problem is, that until you kill one of them, you dont get a 100% proff who is the killer.

You can go back to the market area in Tiersville and ask the guard how the guy looked, then it becomes pretty obvious who he is.

I think the OP is more irritated on the fact that the evidence was not 100% pointing to one guy and you could only have certainty until you actually beat/killed one of them rather than have any other choice. It's a fair point.

There's a follow-up quest in the third chapter with the coin-killer returning. When I found him it was the one I beat up previously. However, he didn't have any speaking roles or dialog so the game might just assume whoever you believe is the killer is in fact the actual killer and swap him out depending on who you picked. Can't test this though since I have little to no urge to play through the game again so soon.

@Blitzkind: Could you finish that quest though? I just have that quest left now in the area, so i wanted to finish it asap. Can't seem to find the guy at all though.

Edit: Never mind, i found the guy by just stepping out to the Hydroponics Field at the southern exit. It was indeed the guy i accused of being the Coin Killer in Shadowlair. I suppose i shouldn't have let him live back then.

I don't know what to do, I've given the quest, but all the NCP's you are refering to in here has no follow-up for me. Maybe I've done somthing to break the quest? I have this side quest open and the only main quest now is to choose side. I must be missing something, I just don't know what. Any tips would be appreciated.

Go to the slums and look on the map for a charactewr called Fortitude, you have to speak to him to advance the quest.
