Report a translation problem
There's a follow-up quest in the third chapter with the coin-killer returning. When I found him it was the one I beat up previously. However, he didn't have any speaking roles or dialog so the game might just assume whoever you believe is the killer is in fact the actual killer and swap him out depending on who you picked. Can't test this though since I have little to no urge to play through the game again so soon.
Edit: Never mind, i found the guy by just stepping out to the Hydroponics Field at the southern exit. It was indeed the guy i accused of being the Coin Killer in Shadowlair. I suppose i shouldn't have let him live back then.
