i only bought it because my wallet was less than a €, it was on sale for that and sounded interesting enough.
Nowhere near through this one but it feels very similar, if a bit smaller and simpler. Still both are full on Story RPG, not just some combat grinders.
It has more simple filler quests (i need 3 things from 3 chests in the area) between the real story ones. Gameplay wise a slightly simpler Gothic, with a more static world, but better graphics and UI (both low hurdles though).

The stealth feels like a real feature, not a completely (and weirdly) useless afterthought. It's no Thief™ or something but it has a point. The literally nonsensical karma system was already a thing. Technomancer felt definitely like a too large project that ran out of money and time for some planned features. Still definitely recommended,with managed expectations.

But despite it being older than the big crafting-in-games wave, a "modern" tedious micro loot and crafting system. As in Technomancer there are ways past the worst busywork (praise PC gaming).Still a way from DL2 or modern AC loot grind.
