Thank you all for playing the demo and for your feedback on the game so far!

We just released a small patch that adds community suggested improvements and better quality of life.

PATCH NOTES v.1-120

Input

Added Key Rebinding for both Keyboard and Controllers
Added support for multiple Controllers connected at once and input hot swapping
Added support for many more niche controllers

Other Settings

Added Support for many more resolutions
Fixed an issue with some resolutions cropping off the sides of the fight screen
Fixed an issue with some UI elements not scaling correctly on ultra wide resolutions
Added options for VSync
Fixed an issue with some sounds not being affected by Sound Level settings

Other

Fixed an issue where technique tips wouldn't show up on some technique menus
Adjusted techniques UI to fit the screen better across most menus
Fixed an issue with some techniques causing potential soft locks

We will continue to work on fixing any more pesky bugs that do crop up so please carry on voicing your suggestions and feedback to us in the Steam forums and Discord[discord.gg]!

Your patience has been rewarded and the Forestrike Demo is officially live! The time has come for you to embark on your journey and master the skill of Foresight.

Step into the shoes of Yu, a skilled martial artist who is on a mission to liberate the Emperor. You will have to master the unique ability of Foresight that allows you to preview your fights and strategize in advance the perfect combat sequence before striking.

Leaf School 🍃

Meet Master Talgun who sees combat not as a means to destroy, but as a path to understanding. He is the first of five masters you will encounter on your journey and will guide you through the Leaf Style, a martial art rooted in evasion and redirection.

Violence is your last resort, instead turn your enemies' force against them, deflecting blows, seizing their weapons, and exploiting every mistake they make. Evasive, graceful, flowing: such is the way of the Leaf school.

This is just your first step into a world of tactical kung-fu mastery. The battle for the Emperor’s freedom begins now, will you rise to the challenge? 💥

Looks very similar with different graphics! Thanks! EDIT: English is not my first language and my original message might come off as offensive but I had 0 Intentions of that! Genuinely curious!

I don't understand this upgrade.

Longevity Base: When a foe gets defeated by Friendly Fire: Heal 1 Health Longevity+: The same and also "When you do a Light Attack: Take 1 damage" Do I receive damage for attacking or what? This ":" thing for explaining the powers makes them harder to understand....

Surprised but i guess I don't get the main mechanic?

If you win in foresight, you still have to to do it again for real. Might not play out exactly how it did in the "vision", but either way it's getting repetitive. Makes me want an option to "lock in" the result if you're satisfied with your foresight outcome, so that it plays out automatically, kinda like in Toribash or YOMIH. Or have extra rewards if you "match" your foresight choreography exactly in the actual fight, although again, i think it will get too repetitive fast. The combat is a lot of fun, bu...
