The ambiance is definately a creep factor, took about 30min for me to get over it, then i got involved in the story and that feeling went away. Just the extra background noises (if youve gotten far enough you know what i mean) got to me at first but when i found out what they were, it stopped bugging me.

I really don't want a Gone Home 2, but I really do want this team to make more games in this style. I think the story pretty well finished here though, and trying to stretch it out would cheapen the experience from what was there.

Thread implies spoilers, so it goes without saying but: SPOILERS!

One thing I wanted to know for sure was about Mom's possible affair with Ranger Rick. The fact they are away at couple's counselling suggests this, but it could also be the stuff they are worried about Sam over. Also, Sam still has a few SNES carts in her room, so did she steal that boy's Nintendo? Or just his games? Maybe she's not as cool as I thought she was?

-Oh, I was also gonna say that the ending had me really scared. Only time I started wishing there was a run button when I heard Sam talk about going to the attic to wait for Lonnie. I really thought I was gonna find her body up there, and I had to take a second to brace myself before opening the attic.

I was hoping if they made a 2nd Gone Home, that they could tell it from someone else's perspective, like Lonnie's. It would remain on the same topic of the original story, but could introduce a few more characters or some extra events that might have happened to Lonnie that she nevevr told Sam.
