Statuses are now stackable.
The game is now localized in Russian! | Теперь игра переведена на русский язык!
Skipping dialogue now completes the current line instead of instantly jumping to the next text.
Pushing or pulling actions now visually rake the soil.

Balancing

Nothing, the game is perfect this week (tag @daniel on Discord and say: good job, Dannyboy!).

Bug fixes

Tentatively fixed an issue where Orc faces would turn red when changing equipment, even if they had no Rage accumulated.
Tentatively fixed an issue where some players could not see the Orcs’ available actions, making the game unplayable.
Fixed an issue where units could get stuck in place while trying to move, causing a soft lock (the dancing crabs are no more, sorry!).
Fixed an issue where the startup language wouldn’t fall back to English if the system language isn’t supported.
Fixed an issue where rapidly switching between Orc actions could leave the player in a soft lock.
Fixed an issue where the actions UI could remain on screen even when no Orcs were selected.
Fixed an issue where the inventory infobox would remain on screen after hovering over a passive or action and closing the inventory.
Fixed an issue where the text animation would play twice when it was the player’s turn to make a dialogue choice.
Fixed an issue where drinking a Stillness of Mind potion and then moving an Orc wearing the Magician Attire would remove the “Don’t Kill” buff.
Fixed an issue where giving resources to Jar Person did not refresh the quest UI for Urdorok Throne.
Fixed an issue where Stink Bomb’s pattern wasn’t shown properly in the action UI.

Miscellaneous

Removed rocks in raid entrance rooms that could obstruct the Warchief when entering combat.
Various corrections were made to the French localization.
Overall pass on passives and statuses names.

What happened to the half elf?

Earlier on, the marketing for the game centered around one half elf/half orc woman who seemed to be trying to change the orc's approach. Was she scrapped? I don't see the same intro anymore or her at all, anywhere. It does seem like the messaging of her being "the only one who could change the brutes" would be a bit, questionable, so I do get that....

Three new Orc bark voice-overs, including when shouting “KILL THEM ALL!”
Confirmation window when starting a new game if a save file already exists
60 FPS cap added to help protect your graphics card
New animation for tamed baby boars
Added missing throwing and jumping sounds for Orcs

Balancing

Orcs now start the first encounter with bone axes and spears, giving players the chance to discover the hammer later on
All hammers now deal +1 damage

Bug fixes

Players can now return to camp during a raid, even if no Orcs are present
Steam will now default to English if the player’s Steam OS is set to a language not supported by the game
Fixed an issue where the camera would drift indefinitely if a controller with stick drift was connected
Reduced involuntary camera snapping when zooming while tilted
Units now properly follow the Warchief when transitioning between areas in a raid
Undoing movement now resets a unit to its last movement position, considering any displacement effects applied since it last moved
Quests now count resources stored in both the camp and the inventory toward completion
Resolved a bug causing sound effects to trigger during scene transitions
Continuing a game with a corrupted save no longer loads the onboarding encounter without Orcs
Players can now complete the Ancestral Mushroom quest when they have sufficient Karma
Added missing markers to Throne repair quests
The equipment swap confirmation prompt no longer stays on screen during other actions
Resolved a bug where triggering a Warcry could lock player input and selection in combat until the turn was ended

Don't Kill Them All is a turn-based strategy game with base-building, where you play the Orcs, the most feared creatures of the land. In the midst of an economic crisis, your Warlord is prepared to do whatever it takes to bring glory to the clan. Something has to change, and fast!

Our goal with this Demo is to improve it through multiple updates throughout the year until its planned release in late 2026. It will be like an Early Access, but as a Demo! Maybe the first Early Demo ever launched?

To help us on this journey, we need your help! We’ve established our own game user research department (me) to ensure we have all the tools needed to listen to the community and gather feedback efficiently. This is a crucial part of game development, and while we did not get many opportunities to use it on Ship of Fools, we really want to bring it forward with Don’t Kill Them All.

Heyo, currently placing my opinions on the game here since there aint reviews yet. First of all: HOLY is the game pretty, animation's top notch and looks like it could fit straight into dont starve or oxygen not included, the comedy/story is also absolutely great! That said i do have a gripe or two: 1: Sparing creatures is sloow, having to wait around 3 seconds for each enemy to jump out feels awkward as hell, if they jumped away faster or all together combat would feel far smoother. 2: Although ...

Awful first impression

So I load in game and am throw in a fight without zero knowledge about anything. Nothing makes sense, attacking a tree for some reason causes an explosion that hits my character on the other side of the map... We dont explain movement, we dont explain rage. Nothing. I get that we are supposed to lose so we do Kill Them All, but this doesnt feel good. I have started a new game over 5 times to understand that first fight because losing because the game doesnt do its job ISNT FUN! And I still dont understa...
