Not everyone will like it, thems the breaks.
I think you'd find it became too easy if you could manually aim all weapons. This is not that kind of game.
At this stage of EA though, I hope they listen to the players and put in the hard work to actually make the gunner fantasy possible. As is, I will definitely only be playing him to unlock stuff and then never touch him. The stutter step to aim in all directions is weird and jank and just not fun. 0/10 experience. I came here just now after trying out gunner to make a thread like this in fact.
PLEASE GSG, BE GOOD TO US AND MAKE THE GUNNER ACTUALLY FUN TO PLAY

All game like this have an option so that you can aim.
No aim is for those who don't want to think, who are bad at aiming and want the game to do it for them, but it is ALWAYS suboptimal and removes a key aspect for a game like this one.
This game would be objectively better with the option to aim with the mouse. And everyone knows it.
