Toggle aim mode
Would love to have toggle aim mode like in "Death Must Die" so you can play as normal or you can aim with mouse and decide when to shoot. Walk backward with half speed and shoot while aiming as a gunner, what a dream.

P.S. Displaing a main gun of each subclass would be awesone(or at least main class).

Manual aim with a cross hair is much needed in this game, especially for the Gunner Class.

Even if it's just have your character aim at mouse and leave everything automated as is it would greatly benefit those weapons that only shoot straight on. Bit janky with WASD but aim at mouse would help

This kind of control seems impossible due to how weapons (and combat in general) are designed here. However, you can use the gamepad for much better aiming on stick.

Blah...this isn't a twin stick shooter, plenty of those around if that's your jam.

Not everyone will like it, thems the breaks.

Well it's an option, you still can play as it intend, but for players like me it makes the difference.

Well it's an option, you still can play as it intend, but for players like me it makes the difference.

I think you'd find it became too easy if you could manually aim all weapons. This is not that kind of game.

it would probably involve rebalancing numbers on the lead storm to account for the increase in amount of sustained fire scenarios that open up to a gunner that has been given the ancient lost technology of strafing.

At this stage of EA though, I hope they listen to the players and put in the hard work to actually make the gunner fantasy possible. As is, I will definitely only be playing him to unlock stuff and then never touch him. The stutter step to aim in all directions is weird and jank and just not fun. 0/10 experience. I came here just now after trying out gunner to make a thread like this in fact.

It could be only for main weapon, so nothing gonna break game balance.

Yep, it's kinda frustrating when your favorite class in DRG so hard to control and i believe that it's not so difficult to "rebalance"

It's funny to see how people defend games for not having the most basic quality of life option for a game like this.
All game like this have an option so that you can aim.
No aim is for those who don't want to think, who are bad at aiming and want the game to do it for them, but it is ALWAYS suboptimal and removes a key aspect for a game like this one.

This game would be objectively better with the option to aim with the mouse. And everyone knows it.

Dude, the game got to early access 4 days ago. Believe or not, it might take some time to add everything.

I saw a comment where someone said just making the primary weapon able to aim and the rest on auto aim would still be an improvement. With how theyve gone about using weapons AKA bullets just launching out of the player model i kind of see how making all 4 aimable wouldnt work, not without alot of changes to the game. But allowing your primary weapon to be aimable would be a MASSIVE improvement to what we have now. Auto aim works on mobile games, it really doesnt work on a pc game especially a genre like this.

That's exactly what i'm talking about. This gonna be so much smooth with keyboard + mouse.
