Anyone find anything better than LMG platform?
The weapon balance is so out of whack
The LMG platform melts the final boss in seconds and is quite viable even before overclocks, then you have the 4 way shooter guns that feel awful to do the overclock runs on when you've just had a taste of appropriate power.

Maybe after getting to know the Driller's arsenal a bit better in DRG:S there could be an option to dethrone the LMG.

Fire Turret pretty good too. Bullet grenade also once it hits 18 and it gains 150% dmg boost for like -reload or something, but with piercing and either triple or fire it shreds. Some guns feel destined to be sidearms though and thus have specific ocs for that.
Oh, Warthog shreds. Ya. It has knocback and nearly instant reload speed and high damage and can shoot plasma front and back that bounce, its nice.

I'm currently completing Hazard 4 and it's "missions", but many weapons are basically NOT viable due to how bad they are against insane amount of enemies and HP pools they have.

Meta upgrades are at around 60% each with damage almost maxed, does not help in the slightest. I can only imagine what happen on Hazard 5, maybe i'l try it today or tomorrow.
By picking weak weapons you are mostly sentencing yourself to die before reaching overclocking, it takes too much time to reach 18.

Some weapons got trash overclocks (before 18) that does not help either. The inability to reroll overclock or accessories from Drop pod hurts rather heavily, sometimes if i get bad first overclock i just restart.

I've been having a lot of fun with the lmg turret, electric coils, and flamethrower turret. I just create a bunch of tunnels around the map and let all of the mobs funnel into those turrets. It's so satisfying

Those are the most broken weapons in the game. It would be nice to use them everytime, but when you go on "mission" runs you can't do that.

Warthog shotgun with Plasma, range and double pellets melts pretty much everything with enough reload&fire rate. That and M1000 classic seems to be only guns that can take out the explody-bugs at range and even behind other bugs.
Tinker engineer build and Sharp shooter scout can pretty much just stand facing vaguely at the enemy direction (scout doesn't really need to do even that, depending on other weapons) and melt everything.
If you're scared you can dig a little nook in a wall.
