And part of it is DRG:S providing NO "dash" type evasion mechanic, which at least some V:S games offer. Without that, I feel like I'm reduced to trying to "read the mind" of Super Mario Boss and trying to predict where he's going to Jump Attack. Even if my speed is buffed, I just can't avoid his jump-attacks with any regularity.
It seems unfair that even if you're digging perpendicular to the boss, he can somehow still jump "over" the rock structures to plop on our a**.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, and we're supposed to like "go towards the boss" instead of keep trying to evade him? I've searched the forums and so far haven't turned up any tips for Super Jump boss.
Also no fan of the boss mechanics
it gets awful close at times lol
Absolutely no way of surviving that situation lol
My move speed is fairly high but it always lands just behind me without hitting, unless it leaps when it right behind you, then it'll jump through you.
