Drop pod timer is WAY too short.
30 seconds is a delusionaly short duration of time to extract, when you have no run, cant dodge roll around enemies, and cant bulldoze through rock instantly. This is just a "whats fun" vs "what increases difficulty", where an extract timer doesn't increase difficulty, but could increase "fun" should it not be unreasonably short.

I recommend increasing it to 45 seconds or 1 minute.

I have not got very far but I have never failed to reach the drop pod.

I think this would be a good change aswell. 1 min to finish up collecting a few things or avoiding situations where you literally can't get to the pod without taking enemy damage by running through them.

30 seconds is not appropriate.

No it isnt.

You can get across the map in 30 seconds.

you dont have to mine ever piece of dust.

it needs to be changed into a choice, between descending, or staying on current map, for resource farming, and then get offered a drop every 3-5 minutes

The current instant fail, if you miss it, needs to go

i remember it happened to me at least twice on the scout. reaching to pod was impossible due to terrain and/or a swarm blocking the fast route (even with around 20% movement speed). Most of the time i do make it with ~15 seconds to spare. Don't know how it will change late game/deeper maps/different classes, maybe it is only a noob period kinda problem.

Yes a little too short, now im trying to kill the elite more in the center of the map or usually I cant get to the drop pod even if going straight to it.

At least on haz 1, should be 15s longer, minimum.

needs to be either:
-60 seconds after final obj
or
-the option to wait to call it down and having 30 seconds to get there

Idk seems it is great. 30 secs is fine if you keep in mind you gotta go. I died gettin late being greedy and cocky only. Just plan your run and it'll be fine

imho 30 sec are perfect. its not a big challenge to get there in time but you definitly have to start moving right away to be safe. a longer timer would feel lame and anticlimatic to me. 30 sec brings a thrill to the finale of every level which does feel great.

Just got out of a run where the drop pod landed on the complete opposite end of the current stage... with the entire bug swarm between myself and it. It was literally impossible to get to in 30 seconds, and would've still been impossible even with 60 seconds most likely.

Due to this experience (which granted, is a niche situation that won't happen often), I feel like this suggestion is the best course of action if any change is made:

In my aforementioned unfortunate situation, I would've simply chosen to continue the fight on the current stage while waiting for the next drop pod availability.

Considering the enemy swarms get stronger over time while you're on the stage after the boss spawns, such a choice is already self-balancing. The longer you choose to stay on a given stage, the stronger the bugs will get, increasing the risk involved.

+1,

It should be callable by player.

This was a complaint in the demo and it was completely ignored, the droppod is WAY too short, 30 seconds is insane, it should be a minimum 60 seconds, we should have at least 20-30 seconds to pick up some exp laying around and then leave, right now you must run straight to the droppod and ignore everything else and depending on how things are going you might miss it.

Also that ramp needs tweaking, I got stuck on it and it was game over lol.

On one map, I had to run around a ravine that ran almost the entire length of the map, through a horde of enemies. There are certainly impossible situations due to RNG.

30 sec is perfect, never missed it yet.
