Hands need some work on Valve Index
First off, love this VR port. It's exactly what you'd expect out of Amid Evil in VR! That being said, i would love to see some adjustments to the hands on the Valve Index.

The offset just feels weird. Like I need to slightly but awkwardly bend my wrist downward to aim the staff properly. A simple way to customize the hand offset/rotation would fix this.

Also about the hands... It would be nice to remove the wrists/forearms completely as they do not animate with my own wrists. Looks really weird when I aim the staff and my wrist/forearm is pointing straight up in the air due to it being locked in place to the hands. General rule of thumb in VR games is if you are not going to have a dynamic wrist that moves naturally - to remove the wrist entirely and have just hands.

We can definitely look at adding in an offset rotation option for comfort! That said, to offer some explanation, the offset is tuned to align with the grip of the controller as if you were holding the staff, and aiming a staff forwards in real life realistically would require such a wrist pose!

As for your wrist "cutoff" suggestion, I cant say for sure if this is something we will address, as having the full gauntlet present is artistically relevant to the game (the gauntlets represent a major part of the forthcoming expansion). That said I can promise we will definitely discuss some alternative solutions and see what we can come up with to please people whom this bothers

So does it work great with Valve Index controllers out of the box? Or would I have to screw around with it a bit..?

Yes, please tweak the control scheme for Index. As it currently stands, the grip sensitivity is extremely high and I find myself constantly switching hands.
