Buying USB keys and crates?

So I´m on familiar with the way purchasing usb keys and crates for real money works in KF2, I bought a usb key the other day but I cannot open it in my inventory because its encrypted or something, but I also bought premium tickets and they would open and give my items just fine, so is anyone a little smarter at this than me?

You need to buy keys to open Crates and Decrypt USBs.
You can get Crates and USBs as drop very often just by playing game (or you can buy them from Community Market for 0.03€)
Keys have to be purchased from in-game store.
