From spectator to game.

How in the hell move from spectator into game?
This game is seriously that stupid that it dont allow spectator to join game?

Wait for the players to finish a wave, the game will automatically respawn you and anyone who died after each one.

I tried to add myself but it is broken game without such simple features like in normally developed game :/ I thought that I missed some button but I checked and tried to join. I even tried to use console command "reconnect" but it put me into spectator again!
Only option if one player will quit and make room then disconnect and find that server again and hope that nobody took tkat free spot. It is tedious and dumb but this game is done that way :(

Doesn't work that way. I had a friend invite me. I joined too late and decided to spectate since they only had 2 waves left. They finished the game and I thought if I stayed I would get a chance to join on the next map. Joined as a spectator again. I had to leave the game and find them again and rejoin as a player.

Nah, that guy doesn't know what ya'll are talking about. He's talking about when you are already in a game...and die...and spectate as a dead player.

I joined server with spectator option and hoped to see player leave so I could hop in into his place. Place was made but no option to join.

Not so easy for me lol. My PC is 10 years old and the game is super slow to load, I guess. I'm always the last to join when I play with friends. And sometimes other people beat me to the open slots and I get taken back to the home screen.

There is a diffrence bettween spectator and spectre mode when joining a game mid wave you will be in spetre mode and be forced into the game after the wave unless theres six people still alive. If you turn on spectator mode before joining a game you are opting into not joining the actual game unless theres only five people excluding yourself. Its a priority setting for respawn.
