way's to balance it out so it's would not feel underpowered compared to the other perk starting weapons could be a bayonet or healing darts (not both at the same time obviously)

Survivalist should get weapons like these and any other weapon that has two fire mode that are related to different perks. Like what the M16M203 is: a weapon in wich survivalist gets (his small) damage boost in both fire modes. We should see a M4A1 masterkey already.

A multi caliber rifle? This reminds me of a multi caliber revolver I saw when watching Forgotten Weapons on Youtube (not the Taurus judge, but that's another cool one).

Might be a pain to program, but that's interesting beyond most of what I saw so far.
