New and Classic Weapon Request List
The goal of this list is to have a place to have all the old classic weapons, and new ideas for weapons in KF2 that the community would desire being added or brought back. If this post has been made before, I apologize as I found nothing like this post with the few searches in the forum I commenced. Also, feel free to drop in suggestions, or if you see a classic weapon I overlooked or forgot, let me know you want it in the game!


Classic Weapons

Weapons from the first game that hopefully would one day be introduced. If a classic weapon fits a category that would fall under a new class in KF2, it will be listed under the KF2 class name, as that is most likely where it would be.

Redundant Weapons

There are several weapons I did not include in the classics list and I shall explain why. Firstly, it goes without saying that the vast majority of the core weapons in KF2 were in or based off of weapons in the first game. Secondly, many weapons have a new equivalent in KF2 currently so that including them would be redundant for the most part. For such a comparison, the LAW rocket launcher or the Pipe Bombs spring to mind. The RPG and C4 do the same job in KF2 so bringing them in would be pointless if they functioned as they did in KF1.


New Weapons

And now we move into new territory! I'll post a few suggestions for starters, but let's see what you guys can come up with for new and unique additions. Real weapons and crazy prototypes or fictional weapons are welcome! Who knows what Horzine might be cooking up?

Glock does have guns chambered in .40, but the 17 and 19 are both 9mm (19 is just a little more compact than a 17). You can buy 1911s in a range of calibers too, but most full sized ones are .45. I'm not a big fan of .40; has the downsides of both calibers without any real benefit, and I've had .40 guns jam on me more often than any 9 or .45 combined.
wow you have real guns? can I ask you about the 10 mm or the .357 sig? I think those are available in glocks too, and I'd like a caliber different than 9 mm on the gunslinger weapon you suggest.

Haven't ever personally shot a 10mm or .357sig (though I have fired regular .357 magnum rounds), but I've heard a lot of good things about their stopping power. My concealed carry handgun is chambered in 9mm, and I've got an AR with .223/5.56.

-Lighter and hairspray (obviously a novelty weapon, but i find myself frequently having 1 more amount of space left over from my purchased weapons, and i often play solo, so a medic pistol wouldnt be all that effective. This could be a good alternative)

I'd say must have from the classic has got to be the mk23's and the hsg1... a hi cap pump shotgun and a gun between the berettas and the m1911's in power... they would fill a perfect gap.

I also liked the idea of a full auto glock. i'd lke to see these single/dual wielded for swat

IMHO, i think we could do with the following:

M1 Garand w/ Bayonet (Berserker)

I can't help but think that the Berserker has been for quite a while pining for a decent ranged weapon due to everyone else having a gun, which can make getting your Pulverizer money difficult to the point where playing Survivalist until then just seems more optimal. I know people have mentioned it when suggesting Sharpshooter weapons, though it's hardly suited for sniping, unlike the Kar98 and Mosin Nagant. Plus, the semi-automatic operation would pair extremely well with a bayonet IMHO

Zed Eradication Device (Survivalist)

With an off-perk perk being in the game, why not give him the OG off-perk weapon? I don't think much needs to be changed asides from giving it a (0.4% * level) damage bonus to stack with the Survivalist's passive damage bonus, while still giving some off-perk utility for the weapon
