About Rhino
I never complained about guns in KF2 for several reasons: they are relatively decent, some of them are really great, high-quality models, impactful sounds, fun to play in general, and the most important aspect, they were FREE! (by "free" I mean that every weapon added after release in early access didn't requare additional money spending).
Until this moment.
Since new Rhino revolver represented in the game as paid DLC I have several claims about its overall quality.
First of all, i won't say much about fact that you can buy this revolver only in pack with so-so looking skins for 10$. I think its fair price for a GOOD weapon, but !spoilers! Rhino is not.

About revolver:
1) Weapon model: looks great but scale is a bit off. I don't know, maybe its just my problem, but It feels small, especially when playing with male characters. Maybe the reason is the way weapon model positioned in relation to the camera view.
2) Sounds: for the weapon shooting fragmentation rounds it sounds very weak, like 9mm pistol. I don't care if the IRL Rhino shoot with the same sounds, in videogame i want feel more impact when fireing a gun.
3) Damage model: it seems that in pursuit for unique feature, the developers did something wrong with weapon balance. The actual feature is cool, but very random. Sometimes you can eliminate whole group of zeds with 5-6 shots, but more often you killing 3-4 zeds with 12 shots from dualies. Later I understood that this is bad gun if you going for headshots. It seems to be designed for shooting in torso (or in floor in front of zeds), so as many shrapnel as possible hit additional targets. In favor of this is the fact that each shrapnel doing more damage than initial bullet.
To be clear, not my playstyle, I am more of a fan of Rack 'em Up perk and destroying scrakes and fleshpounds with precise spray to the head. Rhino is not the best option for that due to Deagles with the same cost, better headshot damage output, but slightly less ammo reserve, which is manageble.

Rhino definitely made for hard and normal difficulty, where you can do well even without hitting heads. But lets be honest, you can do well with ANY weapon on low difficulties. On suicidle maybe i can buy Rhino for sake of variety. On Hell on Earth... never. Literaly, unplayable. On Hell on Earth when playing Gunslinger if you not hitting headshots, then you probably dead or somewhere in the bottom of killfeed. If we talking about players, who using Rack 'em Up constanly, there is no any reason to buy Rhino in its state for now.

In general, I must say, that Rhino is interesting gun with unique cool feature, but underleveled base stats. So its requare a buff. No, BUFF. I am not talking about making it pay-to-win. At least make it in-line with Deagle (and worth 10$ cost):
- Bigger weapon model
- Harder and more impactful shooting sounds
- Bullet damage about same as Deagle
- More shrapnel with less damage each
- For sake of balance, price 1200 for dualies (600 for single)

And... Make it crossperk for Sharpshooter. Its a revolver, every revolver in single form can be utilized by Sharpshooter, so don't ruin the system.

P.S. Later I will try sword for berserk, but I am not expecting much from it.

Can we uh... get just a lil buff for the Rhino?
I'm expecting hateful comments for buying it, that's fine. But I'm a simple man, if I see a Rhino in a game, I must have it. I love Chiappa Rhinos. They feel very underwhelming in KF2. The HRG Revolvers are basically the same thing but better right now.

....Also why is the Rhino's model so small?

Also, please change the sound.... It sounds like a 9mm. Even the M1911s sound more heavy than the Rhino. It's honestly disappointing.

True. The Rhino is indeed disappointing for a 10 dollar weapon. The Ion Thruster however is quite good.

I could be wrong but, I think the Chiappa Rhino uses the same caliber as the M9's.So I think the damage output is correct. My opinion not trying to hate.
I have no problems with the gun. Only problem is that is so expensive for a single gun.

Also why is the Rhino's model so small?
Yeah. I think they need to be just a bit bigger.

The swat's knife looks tiny too tbh.

Rhinos are in multiple calibres

Been asking for this weapon in the game for a long time and they finally did. Everything about it is a disappointment though. The models do look awful.

Thought it was meant to be mainly cosmetic per sey? So as not to have an advantage over non paying weapons, etc? Not sure :lunar2019piginablanket:

they should have waited on making these weapons, like make a new animation set and stuff xD

You'd at least think they'd be decent weapons. They are really, really bad. They can't even oneshot a clot on suicidal.

They arent really good, but come on, of course they can. Hint...hit the head.

Luck based spam weapon on Gunslinger. Yeah, no thanks.

Most if not all revolvers can one hit kill with a chest dhot, the rhinos can't. Their headshot range is also a bit iffy.

Two upgrades and it can shred Abom with fragments. It's only underwhelming if you're using it wrong.

I actually like the Rhinos as is, I feel like it needs more ammo though. It's high DPS makes it easy to run dry on.

Two upgrades cost over 2000 and make them weight 8kg, crippling your build.
Its underwhelming because Slinger has lots of legit high DPS weapons that are not based on an unrelyable gimmick.

If your weapon can kill a clot with a body shot, you're not supposed to use it vs clots in the first place. Why waste high damage stuff to shoot clots? Thats what base 1858s, 1911s or your MedPistol and 9mm are here for, which all cant one shot them with body shots.

The Beretta is explicitly 9mm, a rimless cartridge. After observing the Rhino animations, they are surely loaded with a rimmed cartridge model like .357 mag. The semi-wadcutter bullet on the model would also suggest this since it's the standard on .357 and .44 mag.
