All Perk levels reset to zero, today

Using KF2 today. All my perk levels were reset to zero, "0" and vault dosh set to zero as well. Restarting Steam, refreshed vault dosh. Perk Levels remain at zero. After 5 loyal years, I need to start at the beginning. There must be a fix. Seems like the steam cloud has data.
What can be be done to recover perks, perk configurations? Was level 25 for all perks. Bummer?

Sounds like connection issue or ISP issue.
If restarting the client and game did not work, try using a vpn.

Log Off Steam and PW reset reset perk 4 perk levels to previous state. Remaining perks do not accumulate XP. During game XP is given but next game perk levels are reset to zero.

You only keep exp from ranked servers.
Some custom servers are unranked and the exp gain will not count.

Use the server browser and select the rank filter setting to ensure all displayed servers are ranked.

Got the same issue now too. Everything was fine 4 days ago, then the past 3 days perks are all zero, dailies are all "deal damage:knife", and on the top right it's "Item server connection" is lost.
I can connect to my friends' games, but when the match starts I'm stuck at character select and my friends say my character's class/perk is blank.

2 of my friends have same issue. lost their progress for 2 days now. verifying game and restrting did not fix it

i just fired this game up and i have same issue, wont let me spawn in a game nor do I have my progress.

Just wait a bit and restart steam then it should work.

I read about this issue and solution was to delete Steam file that contains current sync data. Try to find that solution. One time I got game sync stack same way and Steam restart couldn't help as usual

95% of the time, just exiting the game, waiting a few seconds in your Steam library as the game closes out and cloud syncs, then re-launching the game will synchronize your cloud save again.
In the rare instances where that didn't work, I found that swapping the internet connection (I.e., home internet router to a smart device wi-fi hotspot) and back again, always forced the re-sync. Across the years, I've never had to delete anything, or re-install the game, or do anything dramatic to re-sync my save profile's progress status.

This annoying ♥♥♥♥ happen to me, today. My berserker is at 24. The rest is 14, 15; 16, and 17. After multiple times of game restart, I only see the perk that's been leveled up is demo at level 13, commando is level 1, and the rest are 0. What's more annoying is, when you try to just do it again and level up a few times, it just resets you back to zero when you got defeated or Won. It is frustrating.

Since i got that glitch couple times these days...
Thing happens when you restart KF2 during same Steam session.
Exit Steam, wait it to be unloaded, run steam again, wait for KF2 sync, get your progress back. In most cases I believe that would be enough

hey, as the title says, I've been having trouble loading my game saves for some time now
I have 4 characters at lvl 25 and the rest have been reset to zero, even if I start playing with them, the experience gained and the level will be reset after starting a new game, the same happens when starting the game
Uninstalling the game / loading data from the cloud / uninstalling the entire Stam or playing offline did not help

Got the same problem today. Cash exists like before, also inventary. But all perks are zero. No more prestige, no EXP. All zero. Refreshing, restarting, nothing would help.

Do I really have to level up all a second time (and then prestige)? This could ever happen again, right? I was going to love this game, but char-wipes are more painful then dying by a Crawler... xD (T_T)

Edit: All char levels are back one day later. Phew! ^^
